Aloha K9 Training & Pet Resort's principal value is your dog’s safety. We have created a bright and beautiful space where comfort, cleanliness and safety come first.
Our training philosophy is based on the belief that not all dogs are equal. Genetics, environment, their history, chemistry, brain architecture, physiology, cognition, emotions and sociology all play a role in your dog’s personality. Every dog has their own unique traits and mannerisms, and therefore require their own unique and specialized training. That’s where we come in!
Whether it’s for basic manners or more complex behavioural issues, our trainers are focused on not only training your pet, but teaching you, the owner, how to effectively communicate with them. Our balanced method of training will help you and your dog create a happier life together.
Our staff is certified through the Dog Handler Academy’s comprehensive online training program for daycare handlers and are certified in Pet First Aid.
Muttessori School
We are home to the exclusive Muttessori School, our unique spin on doggy daycare where your dog is provided an enriching, structured experience every day they are here with us.
K9 Grass® & Versa Rubber Dog Mats
We are Regina's only daycare facility with K9 Grass® in our outdoor play area and sealed Versa Rubber Dog Mats in our indoor climate-controlled training / daycare area. We are a toxic free environment and don’t use harsh caustic chemicals that are harmful to humans or dogs.
Mary-Lou Halliday
Owner & Certified Master Trainer
Mary-Lou has over 21 years of training experience and specializes in behaviour modification and aggressive dogs.
She understands the emotional side of owning a 'tough' dog and will work to include, not exclude your dog from group training! We train all breeds!
